Pursuant to § 54 of the Rules of Study at the University of Lodz, if a student does not obtain credit for the Diploma Seminar due to failure to submit the Diploma Thesis, the student is entitled to apply for an extension of the deadline to receive diploma seminar credit. The Dean/Rector* shall decide on the extension of the deadline after consulting the thesis supervisor in accordance with § 43 of the Rules of Study.

Being a student of two or more concurrent study programs does not constitute a basis for the extension of the deadline to receive diploma seminar credit.

*The Dean may extend the deadline to submit the diploma thesis by one month, i.e. to the 31st of October, and the Rector may extend it by another month, i.e. to the 30th of September.
