The Centre for Cooperation and Dialogue of the University of Warsaw encourages students and doctoral students to participate in the nationwide photo and video competition “Your Experience Story – YES! Erasmus+”, financed by the Polish Minister of Science and Higher Education. The competition is open to students and doctoral students from Polish higher education institutions who participated in academic mobility programmes during the 2024/2025 or 2025/2026 academic years. The main prize is a four-day study visit to the seats of the European Parliament.
The organisers are accepting competition entries until 31 August. Submitted works should present, in an attractive and creative way, at least one of the following three themes:
- Learning (modern laboratories, libraries, classes)
- Cultural life (discovering traditions, everyday life, art)
- Community and belonging (international friendships, breaking stereotypes)

How can you take part?
Simply prepare an original video or photograph and submit your entry via the competition website. What type of work can be submitted?
- VIDEO – an Instagram Reel tagged with #yeserasmus #yourexperiencestory #erasmus. Please add the organiser’s profile @yes_erasmus_ as a collaborator and include a link to the Reel in the application form when submitting your entry. The organisers are looking for works in Full HD resolution, in either portrait or landscape format, with a duration of 30 to 90 seconds, saved in MP4 or MOV format.
- PHOTO – a single high-quality photograph capturing the spirit of the mobility experience. Requirements are as follows: JPG or PNG format, print-quality resolution (recommended minimum 300 DPI and at least 2,400 pixels on the longer side). The application form will convert submissions to WebP format. In September, selected participants will be asked to send a print-quality version of their photograph by email.
Each participant may submit a maximum of one entry in each category. The submitted work must not be generated using AI, must not constitute a photomanipulation, must use only materials (including music, sound effects, video elements, or graphics) sourced from publicly available resources or covered by the participant’s own rights or licences. Participants are also responsible for obtaining consent to use the image of any individuals featured in their submission.
The authors of the best entries will be awarded a study visit to the European Parliament in Brussels and Strasbourg, combined with sightseeing in both cities and planned for November. The organiser will provide transport, accommodation, meals and insurance. In addition, the 12 best photographs will be featured in a limited-edition promotional calendar for 2027.
