We encourage you to participate in two UNIC Alliance competitions, which are currently underway. Both focus on initiatives related to the challenges facing contemporary post-industrial cities. The first will recognise the best article on justice and security, health and well-being or diversity. The second will honour the best university-community collaboration project. Each winning entry will be presented at the UNIC conference "Institutions in Transition: Justice, Security, and Well-Being in Post-Industrial Cities" at Koç University in Istanbul, Turkey, taking place on 17 – 19 June of the current year. Winners will receive grants – each competition offers two prizes (PLN 3,300 each for the article competition and PLN 2,200 for the community collaboration project competition). The deadline for applications is 16 March 2026.
