Over a hundred students from around the world are starting the semester at the Faculty of Philology of the University of Lodz

On October 1, the inauguration of the 2026/2027 academic year took place for students beginning their studies at the Faculty of Philology under the Erasmus+ exchange and Mobility program.

This semester, 110 students from all corners of the globe have arrived at the Faculty of Philology. The largest groups come from Kazakhstan, Spain, and China, though there are also students from Italy, Turkey, Germany, France, Ukraine, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Serbia, and Portugal.

Many of them gathered in the Faculty of Philology’s largest auditorium to officially mark the start of the academic year. During the inauguration, exchange students received key organizational information regarding their stay and studies, as well as practical tips to help them find their way around the university and the city.

We are delighted that so many students from around the world will be studying at the Faculty of Philology this academic year. Good luck!
