The Ulam Programme allows both recognised and promising scientists to visit Poland, complete an internship, as well as establish and deepen scientific cooperation with Polish research and academic centres.
Thanks to the programme, it is possible to gradually increase the number of international scientists involved in research and didactics in Poland, and thus strengthen the potential of Polish units. The programme allows outstanding scientists who hold at least a doctoral degree, to visit Poland for the period from 6 up to 24 months in order to strengthen the scientific potential of Polish scientific and higher education institutions and to participate in their scientific activities, primarily research projects and didactics.
Under the Programme, it will be possible to invite researchers from abroad, regardless of their age, represented field or country of origin, including Polish scientists permanently working abroad. Universities, scientific and research institutes and other authorised entities will be able to invite specialists from their priority fields to Poland, who will significantly develop scientific research conducted by a given institution, strengthen didactic activity, or support the institution in preparing applications for prestigious grants.
The call for applications under the programme will run from 21 February to 22 May 2023 until 3:00 p.m. according to the official time in Poland.
