At UniLodz, We Support Candidates Applying for Studies in Special Life Circumstances

At the University of Lodz, we do not want personal circumstances to constitute a barrier to starting university education. Therefore, graduates of children’s homes and individuals who are full orphans may be exempt from the admission fee. From the next admissions round onwards, support will also be extended to individuals who were raised in foster care. This is another step towards a university that is open, accessible and responsive to the needs of those beginning their academic journey.

To benefit from the exemption, it is sufficient to present a document confirming the life situation, e.g. a certificate issued by a children’s home or the parents’ death certificates, at the University of Lodz Admission Centre.
