Mariola Antczak graduated in library science and scientific information (University of Łódź; 1994), habilitated doctor of humanities in the field of bibliology and information science (2012), professor at the University of Łódź (since 2013), head of the Department of Information Science and Bibliology at the University of Łódź (since 2015). Research areas: library marketing, information society, information literacy, reading culture of children and young people, different types of libraries. Author of over a hundred publications, participant in national and international conferences (including Pisa, Osijek, Lviv, Jönköping in Sweden, Çankırı in Turkey). Recent publications: Relevance of Jean Twenge’s publications to research on teenage reading culture Polish Libraries (2021; 9); Łódź public libraries. A time of change, a time of challenges (co-author 2020); Internal library marketing in theory and practice (co-authored, 2019), Organization of scientific conferences (co-edited, 2022); Activities of the National Library of Poland and community resilience building following the Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022 (co-authored, 2023); The glass ceiling? Analysis of the development of research publications on academic libraries in 2013–2022 in the light of bibliometric data from the SCOPUS database (2023, co-authored); Multimedia presentations in scientific speeches (2023, scientific editor); Interest in the issues of academic libraries in Poland in the years 1980-2023 in the light of data from the Scopus database (2025, co-author).

Mariola Antczak, associate professor, is head of Department of Information, Library and Book Science at the University of Łódź in Poland. Areas of interest: reading culture, library marketing and management, information culture. The author of many articles published in scientific and professional journals, for example: Relevance of Jean Twenge’s publications to research on teenage reading culture Polish Libraries, 2021, 9: 222-247; Deregulation of the librarian profession in Poland: the course and the consequences (co-author Z.
