Achievements
Research Grants
Between 2013 and 2017, I led the research project “Witold Gombrowicz in Contemporary Argentine Literature (since 1970)”, funded by the National Science Centre (NCN) under the SONATA program. As a scholar specializing in the Argentine context of Gombrowicz’s work, I was also part of the team led by Prof. Włodzimierz Bolecki preparing the critical editions of Diary (2024) and Travels in Argentina (2025) for Wydawnictwo Literackie.
From 2021 to 2024, I directed a grant under the National Programme for the Development of the Humanities. The outcome was the publication of the English-language version of my monograph on the reception of Witold Gombrowicz in Argentine literature: Under Latin American Eyes: Witold Gombrowicz in Argentinian Literature (2024).
Since 2024, I have been leading the research project “Multidirectional Memory in Latin American Jewish Literature after 1990”, funded by the National Science Centre (NCN) under the OPUS program, in collaboration with the Universidad Nacional de Cuyo in Mendoza, Argentina.
Additionally, I am a member of two Argentine research teams, funded by the University of Buenos Aires and the University of Mendoza, within which I conduct research on Latin American Jewish literature.
International Research Stays
In 2025, I completed a three-month research stay at the University of California, Berkeley (Department of Spanish and Portuguese), funded by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange.
I have given guest lectures at various international universities, including the University of Buenos Aires, La Plata, Santiago del Estero in Argentina, and the Universidade de São Paulo in Brazil.
In February 2019, I undertook a one-month research stay in Berlin, funded by a fellowship from the Ibero-American Institute (Ibero-Amerikanisches Institut).
Awards and Distinctions
In 2017, I received the Literatura na Świecie magazine award for my monograph Outside Perspectives: Witold Gombrowicz in Argentine Literature (1970–2017) in the category of “literary studies, translation studies, comparative literature.”
In 2019, the same book was awarded by the Polish Association of Hispanists in the category “Outstanding Monograph 2018–2019.”
